Production Director

Job description / Role

Our client is leading hospitality and service provider in KSA, and currently seeking for a Production Director (Catering). The role is based in the Kingdom, and the successful candidate will be heading the day to day operations of the facility. Responsible for leading, handling, organizing, and operating all the site activities to achieve the objectives and goals set by the company. Ensuring all products are inline with the company standards and as per customer’s specification. Main Duties: • Planning strategically and decision making at the top level to develop and implement to improve process with the current and long-term goals. • Forecasting, budgeting, monitoring, and controlling cost of the operation maximize resources. • Achieve target goals of the department. • Ensuring all standards are uphold and strictly implemented. • Maintains efficient communication to internal and external stakeholders. • Annual preparation in peak operation and movement of products. • Setting up new projects for product development. • Investigate and follow up complains from customers and take corrective and preventive actions to avoid reoccurrence. • Ensure compliance of the staff to all procedures. • Coordinate with store and purchasing department for materials in accordance with specifications. • Evaluate performance and recommend adjustments, trainings, termination and/or contract renewal. • Review existing procedure and recommend improvement. • Control waste, damages, and established procedures for controlling damages. • Compliance as per company operations, in accordance with Saudi Labor Law. • Strict adherence to online cybersecurity, and IT related security.

Requirements

Qualifications: • Degree in Hospitality & Catering Management or related studies • 13 years’ working experience, with 7 years’ experience in AIRLINE Catering industry or 5-star hotels and restaurant. • Advance knowledge in Food Safety practices • Strong understanding of human resource management and allocation • Excellent knowledge with inventory, order and BOH systems. • Excellent communication skills
