SUPPLY CHAIN ASSISTANT

Job Description

JOB PURPOSE: Attend, monitor and assist in all supply chain operations (receiving, issuing and loading of petroleum products) in the Depot according to the instructions received from Supply Supervisor / Supply Team Leader. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Job Specific Accountabilities
Operations Management
 Perform and assist supply activities related to issue and loading of all Petroleum products as per quality control and laboratory recommendations and report to Supply Supervisor / Supply Team Leader.  Where applicable, perform the drums filling, loading & unloading operations as per Quality Control Laboratory recommendations and reports to supervisor / supply team leader.  Where applicable, attend & monitor the loading and filling operations with all necessary mandatory technical data for validity of the consignment to be delivered and reports to supply supervisor.  Assist in reconciling daily meter reading statements. Informs Supply supervisor, if there is any discrepancies.  Receive from distribution office all products returned from customers/filling stations/ depots, after delivery of products. Segregate, cross checking & confirms in the system.  Assist to prepare daily stock statement based on Real time for tank gauging view panel available in the control room.  Monitor all product movement operations and records all activities in the logbook  Assist to Maintains a daily record of own use filling station receipt & issue meter readings.  Perform tank dipping & product samples for dedicated tanks to be sent to Laboratory for quality control certification.  Assist to prepare monthly statement of contractor’s deliveries / haulage report (products delivered by contractor vehicles) and submits the report to contractor for review & forward to Supply supervisor.  Attend & perform vehicle loading operations during operator’s shortage.  Check documentation and ISO related documentation works on regular basis and follow the ISO procedure & Work Instructions relevant to work.  Check Logbook for previous shift’s report to ensure follow up and updates it with important remarks, if any, for follow-up by following shift. Maintenance Management

 Make routine checks to ensure that all equipment and facilities under his control are in good working condition and record any abnormalities and reports to supply supervisor.  Perform daily routine checks of all process equipment and facilities. Attends for any repair/maintenance work on depot facilities. In addition to trouble shooting & general maintenance activities.  Assist to perform / maintain complete necessary documentation Jet A1 tank receipt / drain details, Millipore testing, filter DP readings, filter maintenance records and carrying-out the routine testing as scheduled (where applicable). HSE and Safety  Assist the supply supervisor & co-ordinate with HSE during emergency operation of the depot.  Monitor Toll Free Emergency Response System and inform supervisor to coordinate with HSE Emergency commander as and when required. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Minimum Qualification  Secondary School Certificate with a Diploma Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
 3-4 years training in the relevant field in oil Distribution field in a major petroleum company.  Knowledge of English and Arabic  PC literacy  Valid UAE Driving License
