Job Title: Wholesale Supervisor - Wholesale Channel
Department: Commercial Middle East & Gulf
Reports To: Area Sales Manager
Scope and Impact of Position on the Organization:
- Business Development: Drive business growth and maintain market engagement through intensive field presence to meet quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Sales and Margin Maximization: Increase sales and margins while ensuring a high company profile across the territory.
- Team Spirit: Embrace team spirit and take on responsibilities and challenges, especially in a distributor-dominant environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Dealer/Partner Collaboration: Work closely with dealers/partners, providing technical and commercial support.
- Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with wholesale customers, including distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
- Internal Sales Participation: Attend internal sales calls or meetings and actively participate.
- Corporate Reporting: Ensure adherence to a steady corporate reporting system.
- Sales Strategy Implementation: Recommend and implement strategies to maximize coverage, sales, and market share.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and support, addressing inquiries, concerns, and product issues promptly.
- Management Reporting: Act proactively with high credibility and responsibility towards management reporting.
- Marketing Collaboration: Work with the marketing team to develop and execute effective sales and marketing campaigns targeted at wholesale customers.
- Industry Awareness: Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to effectively position products and drive sales.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with supply chain, customer service, and finance teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment, timely delivery, and accurate invoicing.
- Business Development: Identify and target new business opportunities to expand the wholesale customer base.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in business administration/marketing.
- 3-5 years of experience in building materials wholesale sales in the assigned area.
- Understanding of local trade and market demands.
- Strong communication and socializing skills.
- Outstanding persuasion skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- High presentation skills.
- Professional, courteous, and helpful manner.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Effective team member with the ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English. Arabic is an asset.
