Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• Responsible for designing, building, deploying, and maintaining the IT infrastructure using the latest technology
• Ensures all the IT systems that support business are function efficiently and seamlessly.
• Working with Internet connections, cabling, virtualization platforms, and storage area networks.
• Works on-site or remotely by evaluating all the systems within an infrastructure.
• Interact with all vendors on behalf of company’s concerning its infrastructure.
• report for work round-the-clock throughout the year as well as in different locations
• design solutions from mission needs and assess current systems to secure the best practices and balance by complying with internal and regulators policies and procedures
• Manage and maintain broad area virtual private networks (VPN).
• administration of the Middleware application server
• monitors administration of Windows, Linux or Mac OS Operating Systems and are conversant with systems administration
• troubleshooting applications and providing J2EE application deployment
• Partner with the application development team on application building, implementation and fixing of issues.
• put together and install infrastructure components on networks and servers, ensure that the technical performance aspects in the infrastructure environment are optimized, including database, network, and application server performance
• stating, applying, and enforcing processes for promoting all infrastructure components from the development environment to the environments of testing, demonstrating, and generating
• make sure that the infrastructure components are working in tandem and can be executed without compilation errors in various platforms and environments
• Collaborate and participate in activities to make certain there is knowledge improvement, and share and integrate programs within as well as across the whole work as suitable and lead projects, and take part in evolving client project activities.
• Conversant with Apache Web Server and Tomcat Server and possess experience in performance optimization and system/application tuning. Additionally, should be able to explain technical information to people from non-technical backgrounds.

Educational Qualifications

• bachelor’s degree in a computer science or information technology field
• At least one of these certification MCITP, CCNP or VCP.

Work Experience

• knowledgeable about network and security concepts, SAN technology and storage, and tuning techniques and system performance configuration.
• Exposure to networking in Windows server and Linux, TCP/IP environment, virtualization technologies, and OS performance monitoring.
• Minimum of 4 years.
