Patient Care Technician

The patient Care Technician assists in providing activities of daily living and comfort measures for the assigned patients under the direction of the head nurse. This includes taking vital signs, making beds, assisting the RN in performing procedures, taking fluid samples or other specimens for testing. Assist nursing staff within their knowledge and abilities; other duties will be assigned within their knowledge and capabilities.

Education and Licensure:

• One (1) year Patient Care Technician Program from SCFHS.
• Valid professional license to practice the specialty from Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
• Current valid certification of Basic Life Support.
