As an Approvals Coordinator you will play a crucial role in our revenue cycle management operations. You will be responsible for coordinating and obtaining insurance approvals for medical procedures and services, ensuring timely reimbursement for our clients, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: • Coordinate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to obtain prior authorizations and approvals for medical procedures and services.
• Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility for services.
• Review and analyze medical documentation to support approval requests.
• Maintain accurate records of approvals and denials, ensuring proper documentation for billing purposes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any issues related to approvals and denials.
• Stay updated on changes in insurance policies, regulations, and reimbursement guidelines. Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business, or related field (preferred).
• 1 – 2 years’ Experience working in revenue cycle management or healthcare insurance coordination.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, insurance policies, and reimbursement processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
