Position: Manager Population Health Management

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve the health and wellbeing of the population within NEOM. This will include designing and implementing programs to prevent and manage chronic diseases, promoting healthy lifestyles, and ensuring access to high-quality healthcare services.
Key Accountabilities & Activities:
Support the strategy and strategic planning process of HWB Sector, and drive the continuous development, while specifically driving the development of the strategies as they relate to the HWB division of NEOM Authority
Support strategy development and execution, ensuring projects are aligned with the sector’s and NEOM’s vision and annual strategic targets
Support in the development of ad-hoc strategies and lead selected strategic projects for HWB Sector as needed (Ecosystem strategies, business strategies, functional strategies…)
Prepare planning reports; and establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
Participate in divisions annual budgeting cycle and process (general input as required)
Provide input to divisions and sector goals/objectives that support NEOM's overall strategic plans
Contribute to the implementation and achievement of the division objectives and sector strategy
Develop and implement population health management strategies to improve the health and wellbeing of the population in NEOM.
Design and implement disease management programs to prevent and manage chronic diseases, such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease.
Develop and implement wellness and prevention programs to promote healthy lifestyles and prevent the onset of chronic diseases.
Coordinate with healthcare providers and other stakeholders to ensure access to high-quality healthcare services.
Conduct research and analyze data to identify health trends and develop strategies to address population health needs.
Provide guidance and support to other healthcare professionals on population health management strategies and best practices.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of population health management programs and make recommendations for improvements.
Develop and implement omics-based programs to assess population health status and disease risk.
Identify data requirements for population health management programs and collaborate with data analytics teams to ensure data availability and integrity.
Identify and evaluate digital analytics tools to support population health management programs.
Design and implement population health management interventions based on omics data and other digital health tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinicians, researchers, and data scientists, to develop and implement population health management programs.
Background, Skills & Qualifications:
• At least 10 years of experience in population health management or related field.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare systems, health promotion, and disease prevention.
• Understanding of the Saudi health sector and relevant network is preferred
• Experience in program design, implementation, and evaluation.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to research and formulate insightful recommendations, and to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
• Knowledge and experience in strategic planning, performance management, policy development, stakeholder engagement, and public health.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong project management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Health, Public Health, Health Administration, or related field - Bachelor of Medicine or Bachelor of Surgery strongly preferred
• Masters in public health, medicine and/or biomedicine required (PhD, DrPH very beneficial)
