• 23 weeks & 500 grams
• Convalescing baby up to 28 days post-conceptual ageSTAFF CATEGORIES
Severe prematurity.
Respiratory distress syndrome
Hemodynamically unstable newborns
Major congenital anomaly
Conjoined twins
PRIMARY PATIENT DIAGNOSES
Continuous cardiorespiratory monitoring and advanced neonatal life support.
Care of neonates receiving Invasive/ non-invasive respiratory support
Pre & post-operative care
Assist with invasive procedures, e g. paracentesis, thoracentesis, suprapubic
catheterization, chest tube, UAC/ UVC/ PICC/ Arterial line insertion
Assist with retina of prematurity examination
Care for newborns enrolled in Bone Health Program
Care for newborns receiving Phototherapy
Care for newborns on Cooling Protocol
Provide palliative care to newborns on comfort care status.
Enteral feeding.
Immunization
Health education for parents.
Assist and support with breastfeeding.

Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
