Safety Supervisor

Job Detail :

1. Overseeing and managing the safety programs and initiatives within the steel factory to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
2. Developing and implementing safety policies, procedures, and training programs to promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability.
3. Conducting regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, unsafe practices, and areas for improvement.
4. Investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrences.
5. Collaborating with management, departments, and safety committees to address safety concerns, implement safety measures, and drive continuous improvement.
6. Providing safety training to employees on topics such as hazard recognition, personal protective equipment, emergency response, and safety best practices.
7. Monitoring and analyzing safety data, metrics, and trends to assess safety performance and identify opportunities for enhancement.
8. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, standards, and requirements set by regulatory agencies and industry organizations.
9. Maintaining safety records, reports, and documentation to track safety initiatives, incidents, and compliance efforts.
10. Serving as a safety resource and point of contact for employees to address safety-related questions, concerns, and issues.
