Army Aviation AH-E / UH-M Quality Control Technical Inspector

The US Army Aviation AH-64E / UH-60M Quality Control Technical Inspector (QC TI 15T / 15R) will provide the Royal Saudi Land Forces Aviation Command(RSLFAC) with fully qualified Quality Control Technical Inspector Specialist (15T/15R) IAW Directed Manning Baseline to assist in the aviation maintenance mission of the RSLFAC.

Job Duties:

• US Govt Secret Security Clearance is Required, US Citizenship is Required to obtain a Secret Clearance.

• Must be a graduate from one of the US Army 15R or 15T Technical Inspector Courses or equivalent; (Or be a former US Army Maintenance Test pilot on either of the AH-64, UH-60) MDS aircraft.

• Augment the Aviation Intermediate Maintenance (AVIM) Company Quality Control Section in the establishment of quality control programs, job timereporting, aircraft modification and configuration control and coordination ofaircraft flight requirement with using activity.

• Augment the AVIM Company Quality Control Section in coordinating anddirecting activities between maintenance and supply sections to provideharmonious and effective mission accomplishment.

• Ensuring the authorized quality plans and programs are properly executed and the Quality Control Officer is kept informed of overall results, conditions, and trends.

• Augment the AVIM Company Quality Control Officer in planning,
  developing, publishing, and implementing of sound quality control maintenance procedures for the effective administration, supervision, and operation of the aircraft quality control activities.

• Assist in the scheduling of quality control activities to provide maximum availability of safe, flyable aircraft through efficient utilization of personnel.

• Assist the AVIM Company Quality Control Officer in the preparation,analysis, and coordination of quality control data within the Group/Battalion Staffs and RSLFAC Staff Representatives to establish and/or change procedures.

• Assist the AVIM Company Quality Control Officer in the preparation of recurring and nonrecurring reports depicting production data. Coordinate the dissemination of appropriate production information throughout the RSLFAC.

• Assist the AVIM Company Quality Control Officer in developing, publishing, and implementing sound quality control maintenance procedures for the effective administration, supervision, and operation of the aircraft maintenance activities.

• Provide backup quality control inspection of the UH-60M and/or AH-64E series helicopters at the AVUM/AVIM levels.

• Perform other qualified duties as required.

Requirements and Required Experience:

• A High School diploma or equivalent is Required.

• A minimum of Six (6) years of recent US Army aircraft maintenance experience on the UH-60M and/or AH-64E MDS (15T or 15R ) aircraft with at least Two (2) years in management of a quality control sectionis Required.

• Must be a graduate from one of the US Army 15R or 15T Technical Inspector Courses or equivalent; (or be a former Maintenance Test pilot on the AH-64, UH-60).

• Must have knowledge of US Army AVUM, AVIM and Depot level logistics support that includes repair and overhaul procedures for airframes, engines, and components.

• Must have knowledge in supply, maintenance, quality control, productioncontrol, and safety.

• A Valid US Passport is Required for deployment to Saudi Arabia.

• Must be able to pass the Saudi Visa Medical to obtain a Saudi Visa (Igama) for deployment to Saudi.

• US Govt Secret Clearance is Required.

• Exceptional communication skills, leadership abilities, and personnel management skills are required.

Security Clearance Requirements.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Govt Secret Security Clearance . Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization to work at this facility, and to obtain a US Govt Secret Clearance.

Additional and Physical Requirements:

• Must be fluent in the English language.

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand Arabic is desirable.

• Must be capable of obtaining a valid light equipment operator’s license.

• Able to prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projects.

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Power Point, Access and Excel.

• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

• Occasionally lift objects up to 50 pounds.

• Work may be outdoors in extreme weather conditions.

• May be exposed to extreme noise from turbine engine aircraft.

• May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles; may be exposed to electrical shock hazards or work near moving mechanical parts, vehicles, or aircraft.
