Job Description - Coordinator III, Supply Chain Job

An exciting opportunity is available for Coordinator, Supply Chain, based in Dammam .

Summary:

Conducts activities relating to the efficient execution of shipment and logistics services.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

1- Receive, check, and tally the shipping documents.

2- Arrange the shipment and monitor its movement.

3- Conduct and prepare periodic shipping analyses on time.

4- Prepare daily shipment movement reports and update customer service for shipment status.

5- Monitor forwarder performance activities and submit relevant reports to the Department Head.

6- Maintain the rate level of shipping and initiate a cost reduction process for those at the critical level.

7- Control and maintain records following proper procedures.

8- Complete the documentation cycle in accordance with ISO procedures/guidelines and maintain proper recordkeeping.

9- Identify the best shipping line, schedule, and transit time.

10- Preparation of P.R. and follow-up for shipping invoices.

11- Maintain good relationships and interaction with internal organizations, and service providers to maintain the good reputation and image of Rowad.

12- Identify and obtain optimum utilization of the container.

13- To carry out any other assignment entrusted by the Section Head.

14- Report any discrepancy to the Department Head for corrective action.

Minimum Qualification and Experience: • Diploma degree . • Minimum of 1-year experience in the same field .

Knowledge & Skills Required:


  • Problem-solving.

  • Negotiate skills.

  • Effective Communications.


  • Fluency in English language with excellent communication (written & oral) skills.

  • Knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
