Job Purpose:
Oversees the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department. Evaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed. Assesses building systems to plan work assignments and project schedules. Develops maintenance procedures and schedules, coordinating with clients for hard and soft service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating with client for all operational activities for Hard services
- Ensure and Implement SOP for operation and maintenance
- Inspecting facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance
- Preparation of weekly and monthly report and to attend meeting with client
- Technical support to PPM and CM
- Ensure and request consumables and spare parts required for project
- Handling petty cash flow
- Coordinating with sub-contractor for third party maintenance
- Preparing technical report and incident report’s
- Preparing daily maintenance schedules and allocate work
- Supervising, and training maintenance technicians
- Supervise technical team during installations, repairs or maintenance (MEP equipment).
- Inspect and maintain building systems daily
- Contribute to the development of operation and maintenance procedures
- Monitor inventory of materials and equipment
- Review utilities consumption
- Supervise all staff facilities staff (custodians, technicians, groundskeepers etc.) and external contractors
- Supervise facilities staff and communicate with external contractors and vendors
- Ensure all building facilities adhere to proper safety standards and cleaning procedures
- Participate in coordination of projects (e.g. renovations)
- Coordinate daily cleaning and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with quality, health and safety rules, guidelines and regulations
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
Qualifications:
- 8-10 years with same job filed of experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical or mechanical).
- Certified Facility Manager (CFM) credential.
