Responsibilities:

360 LOGISTICS FUNCTION
Leading from the front, the Production Logistics Head is responsible for managing milestones / timelines to ensure all speaker logistical planning efforts are on point Ensure that all applicable legislations laid by SCEGA for speaker screening are met with on-time data sharing Manage and maintain strong relationship with 3rd party service providers to support the logistics function Seek logistical efficiencies, financial, operational, and practical Negotiate hotel rates, agreements signing off, and payment terms are agreed for each event season Liaise with the relevant government entities to manage the entire process of visa issuing for speakers / staff Monitoring cost control and project deliverables within project budget along with savings, where applicable Liaise and coordinate with government stakeholders in a seamless logistics operations delivery, as and when required Drive execution of event logistics plans to support project plan
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
Managing the entire logistics and admin team for a seamless event delivery Day-to-day management of the logistics and admin team and troubleshoot any team related issues Management of all logistics, preparations and manpower for each event (including internal staff, volunteers, freelancers, consultants, interns, venue partners, and suppliers) Recruit and train new team members and contractors as and when required Manage, coach and develop a high performing team that meets agreed objectives and delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements
ON-SITE MANAGEMENT
Manage all 3rd party service providers and ensure service delivery excellence with the highest standards Manage and escalate any speaker related issues to the line manager Resolve pressing matters with all service providers, speakers, event partners, and the team Ensure service delivery is met with highest standards of customer service by the team and service providers Ensure that all functions under supervision operate in accordance with health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and the speakers

Educated to degree level or equivalent
