Maintenance Assistant Manger

• To coordinate with the Head of Projects and liaise with project stakeholders on all project activities related to project execution and facility & machinery maintenance functions.
• To coordinate maintenance activities for all facilities in or connected with the Manufacturing divisions in the Head Office. Reporting to and coordinating with the Unit Manager
• To monitor and ensure that the clearly laid down guidelines for the ERP for maintenance management are followed by the team and system is in place for the same at all times.
• To prepare guidelines on the maintenance processes wherever technical intervention is required.
• To create a Preventive Maintenance schedule based on manufacturer’s manuals to be strictly followed and recorded.
• To check the cleanliness of the machinery and plant
• To give directions for the plan for the day for maintenance works being done and to be done for the day and night shifts.
• To plan the purchase of necessary resources for maintenance to ensure minimal breakdown of Plant/machinery and provide instructions to the maintenance coordinator for any resource requirement for further action for purchase requisition through the ERP system.
• To ensure that the Spare parts management is in place in all the facilities.
• Deploying the right resources and prioritizing the activities based on their importance.
• To attend the Multi Group briefing and address relevant points of discussion that were part of the engineering briefing and vice versa after the Multi Group briefing.
• Address any maintenance activities that affect the activities or operations of the building and production-related activities during the day and night.
• To verify the activities planned for the previous day/night by making rounds inside and around the factory.
• To make rounds inside the factory and around the building and address back the relevant points to the Engineering staff.
• To check if all the utilities used for the factory are being used optimally by the users throughout the factory and guide the staff one on one at random wherever necessary.
• To check the status of the water treatment plant and take necessary actions or improvements, if necessary.
• To sign off relevant bills, purchase orders and sign invoices with details and purpose clearly.
• To intervene or interact, if necessary, with the overseas suppliers wherever a follow-up is required on the existing machine service and spare requirements.
• To discuss the activities done throughout the day with the Production & QA team in the factory and to check the updates by the end of the day and if necessary, act on it and follow up.
• To liaise with subcontractors for any subcontracted engineering and maintenance-related jobs.
• To manage the purchase of spares, parts, and services of all the assets of the factory at the most optimal price and quality.

Skills

• Designation and posting of the level assistant Manager – Engineering/Technical
• With good experience in Food processing machinery Installation, commissioning, and setup/start-up with maintenance. (refrigeration/electrical experience will be required)
• A good experience in liaising with Machinery suppliers, Civil contractors, and sub-contractors for efficient facility management.
• Good experience of Preventive maintenance management and with good experience of Spare parts management on any popular Maintenance software module.
• Age- less than 40 years old.
• Arabic speaking skills will be an added advantage.
• The candidate is expected to liaise with all process owners for effective and efficient Plant & Machinery management and will be reporting to the Factory Manager.
