WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

Project Management:
Manage the end-to-end delivery of capital engineering projects. May be dedicated to deliver a single project of significant size or a portfolio of smaller projects.
Responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day management of projects including stakeholder engagement, contractor management, site safety, budget management.

Principal Responsibilities

On Time in Full (OTIF) end to end delivery of assigned capital projects adhering to Unilever standards and ensuring safety as our number 1 priority.
Development and maintenance of good stakeholder relationships.
Manage Capex proposals and approval cycles.

Outputs / Performance Metrics

OTIF delivery of Project / Project Portfolio.
Delivery of UE Performance Metrics for Projects:
- Safety
- Budget
- Schedule
Customer / Stakeholder Feedback.

Internal Logistics Improvement:

Lead NVAA (Non-Value Adding Activities) for Logistics activities on site.
Support/Lead Logistics projects on site.
Material classification: - Define replenishment strategy (warehouse, line side).
Streamline material flow from Supplier to Factory and improve the material flow from supermarket to production lines.
Analysis of Trucks & Balancing.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications
Essential:
Bachelor's degree in engineering.
3+ Years experience of Project Engineering in FMCG / related Industry or gained in an engineering consultancy environment.
1+ years' operating in a management capacity.
Good Project Management experience.
Desired:
Attained Professional Engineer Status.
Have Internal Logistics Experience.
First-hand experience / track record of delivering major (€Multi Million) capital projects within Unilever or similar FMCG environment.

Skills

Professional Engineering Skills (Educated to degree standard in an engineering discipline).
Engineering Design Process Management (Working Knowledge).
Project Delivery (All sub skills - Fully Operational).
Maintenance Principles and Best practice (Working Knowledge).
UMS (Unilever Manufacturing System)/WCM EEM (Fully Operational).
Contract Management & Conflict Resolution (Fully Operational).
Budget Management (Fully Operational).
PMP skills is preferred (certification not mandatory).
