Job Description

In-charge for all spare parts turnaround and major maintenance related activities, maintaining Material Management database, update stock levels, follow-up with external agencies for PR/PO release and on-time delivery. Spare parts availability has a high complementary contribution in Maintenance Key Performance Indicator objectives.

Key Accountabilities

• To ensure Material function follow all SHEM applicable standards. Contribute in United safety improvement by conducting behavior safety audit, generating eSHEM report in the system, generating idea proposals.
• Initiate/Follow up PR for non-stock/capital/raw material other than direct charge materials (which can be created through work order) for TA and non-TA requirements.
• Follow-up with GPS and Venders for procurement request received from area planners, TA planners and end users. Ensure on time delivery as per plant requirement.
• Support urgency/emergency requests, Work on inter affiliate and non-Cleint company stock transfer, prepare required documentation/approval, and ensure proper transfer process.
• New material registration & inventory level update.
• Taking up the rejection issues with the buyer and follow up with the Vendors for replacement, follow with Global procurement services (GPS) for further action.
• Keep focus on EHSS critical equipment and production critical spares availability.
• Maintain proper records on the follow up actions and update the status for end user department on request.
• Focus and act to achieve department business objective and KPIs through continuous practice and monitoring.
• Assist department in compliance with quality system and audits.
• Coordinate with all internal and external customers and suppliers, i.e. Maintenance, Operation, Catalogers, Buyers, Vendors, Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, Quality management, and Shipping and Receiving.
• Coordinating with Global Procurement Services (GPS) for various programs, contributing in material issues updating once received.
• Review and prepare analysis report on material and spare part management.

7+ years of relevant experience in material management, Inventory, Logistics or Resources Planning.
