NEOM Green Hydrogen Company (NGHC) is on a mission to make a carbon-free, climate-safe future a reality. We are building the world’s largest plant to produce green ammonia at scale, providing humankind with a cost-efficient solution that will accelerate the worldwide green hydrogen economy. Located in NEOM and supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, NGHC will be integrating up to 4GW of onshore solar and wind energy to supply up to 650 tons of green ammonia per day for transportation globally. Operations will go onstream in 2026. NGHC brings together the technology, operational efficiency and know-how of ACWA Power, Air Products and NEOM in a joint-venture partnership with over 80 years of combined experience in the fields of hydrogen, energy, renewables and global networks.

NATURE & SCOPE
The main functions of this position are:
- As part of a Global Network Engineering team, assist with design, and implementation of new and enhanced network technology that aligns to Air Products’ strategic direction for enterprise and remote site connectivity.
- Maintain standards for global network infrastructure, including wireless, LAN and SD-WAN networks and connectivity.
- Work closely with Enterprise Security and Network Architects to understand high level designs and implement low level solutions.
- Execute engineering efforts to ensue currency and supportability of networking technology.
- Consult and participate in technology lifecycle planning, including contributing to the development of the technology roadmaps and Network Health Assessments.
- Provide the required documentation, knowledge transfer and training to successfully land new solutions into the support organization.
- Provide Level 4 Support for problem escalations from the global network support organization.
- Work with third-party providers and suppliers to maintain network viability and efficiency.
- Research options for introducing emerging technologies to improve network performance and remain current in networking infrastructure.
- Dimensions: >900 network locations; >1300 WAN circuits.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES
- Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)
- Configure and install software, servers, routers, and other network devices.
- Monitor network performance and integrity.
- Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure.
- Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness.
- Mentor team members on technical issues.
- Create, oversee, and test security measures (e.g. access authentication and disaster recovery)
- Communicate with users when needed.
- Maintain complete technical documentation.
- Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability.
SKILLS / TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AREAS:
- Industry-related experience as a Senior Network Engineer or Network Administrator
- Professional certification (e.g. CCNP, CCDP)
- Solid background in network administration and architecture
- In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF)
- Familiarity with access control models and network security
- Knowledge of coding languages for scripting.
- Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools.
- Solid understanding of network operating systems (JUNOS, Cisco IOS)
- Ability to work independently.
- Organizational and mentoring skills
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with current LAN, WAN and SD WAN networking routing and switching systems.
- Applied industry certifications or 5 years equivalent work experience in a network engineering role.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills with the ability to articulate detailed technical concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in global, cross-organizational teams to assist with virtual projects and tasks.
- Meticulous attention to technical detail.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Applications, or a related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience.
- Network Certifications.
