Job Title : Shear Wave UT Technician Number of Vacancies : 100 Salary : 2000 - 4000 + Food Location : Dammam, Saudi Arabia Duty Hours : 10 hours per day Job Summary : As a Shear Wave UT Technician, you will specialize in using ultrasonic testing technology to evaluate the properties of a material, component or system without causing damage. Your role is crucial in detecting flaws and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct Shear Wave Ultrasonic Testing (UT) to detect internal flaws or to characterize materials.
  
• Interpret data from ultrasonic tests and provide detailed reports that help in assessing the condition of the equipment or structures.
  
• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
  
• Follow stringent safety guidelines and ensure the safety of all testing operations.
  
• Work closely with other inspection and engineering professionals to discuss findings and recommend corrective actions.
  
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and testing results.
  
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in ultrasonic testing and continuously seek to improve testing procedures.
  

• Certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) with a focus on Shear Wave technology from a recognized institution.
  
• Proven experience as a UT Technician, specifically in Shear Wave, in industries such as oil & gas, construction, or manufacturing.
  
• In-depth knowledge of the latest ultrasonic testing equipment and technology.
  
• High attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret test results and make informed decisions.
  
• Effective communication skills for reporting and collaborating with team members.
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and engineering blueprints.
  
• Must be willing to relocate to Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
  
• Capable of performing physically demanding tasks in various environmental conditions.
  
• Must adhere to strict safety protocols while handling potentially hazardous materials.
  
• Flexibility to work shifts that may extend beyond regular duty hours, including weekends and holidays as necessary.
