Job Description

Overview of the role:

  • Al Futtaim Electric Mobility Company is leading the transition to the future of sustainability in Automotive and at the core, striving to provide the best-in-class customer experience in this new mobility space.
  • Promoting the adoption of new energy vehicles demands special efforts in addressing customers uncertainties, while improving customer education on the new technologies, costs and benefits. Eliminating these barriers is key to achieve UAE’s commitment to ambitious, yet achievable, sustainable transportation targets.
  • The Trade Marketing Manager is responsible to enhance in-store sales conversion, developing the showroom customer centric activities through the creation of a coherent Marketing Calendar planning and executing weekly showroom events by managing suppliers and respective teams involved.
  • This role will work as part of the Sales Team and will also be responsible to strategize sales campaigns, enhance customer traffic and promote sales conversion activities. 
  • The Trade Marketing Manager will act as a key role to enhancing the path to purchase for our customers, through promoting a joyful and interactive experience at our showrooms.
  • This role will work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with internal departments (Marketing, Digital, showroom Sales team etc.) by experimenting and bringing new solutions to meet our customer needs and pain points.

What you will do:  

  • Boosting our sales ambitions, this resource will sparkle and energize our traditional showroom ambiance to a lively and delightful BYD brand experience
  • Marketing Calendar Strategy: a knowledgeable and strategic resource will develop and create a special Marketing Calendar, which will be aligned to its own event sales campaigns to help achieving our sales targets
  • Customer Footfall Traffic: accountable to lead customers to our showroom, with appealing events catered to their needs, they will provide great customer traffic by targeting the right audience and through the right channels
  • Showroom Events Execution: a hands-on team player, will take the accountability to execute and oversee the events (including suppliers and teams involved), which will enable our showroom staff to focus on providing best in class customer service. Engage with potential partners to improve the brand visibility
  • Reporting: as part of the learning process, regular reports shall be created, highlighting KPI achievements (compared to previous set targets), lessons learned and activities from our competitors. AFEMC believes in the power of evolving – we understand this is a new role and we will all learn through this together – as long we have a reporting process.
  • Budget Control: providing amazing customer experience is a must, but it also needs boundaries – when it comes to spending. A responsible resource needs to carefully manage all related costs within the expectations.
