KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Managerial Responsibilities (For Managerial Positions):
Responsible for developing NWC projects contract activities of execution, including reviewing drafted contracts, monitoring contract implementation, and managing variation orders
Functional Responsibilities:
• Resolving contractual conflicts with contractors, and in reviewing, and finalizing Change Orders / Contract Amendments.
• Ensure work is performed based on approved policies, processes, procedures, and instructions.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of the systems, practices, cost optimization, and productivity & efficiency improvement.
• Ensures compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and standards within NWC and related functions such as but not limited to (HC, HSSE, Risk and Cybersecurity, etc..).
• Escalate problems to ensure case/issue is closed efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Develop administration of contractual terms and conditions from the initiation stage to contract close-out and audit stage to compile with the overall NWC policies/standards and legal framework.
• Review drafted contracts with contractors in coordination with concerned project teams.
• Monitor contract implementation for high-risk/value opportunities in liaison with project teams.
• Ensure monitoring resolution of conflicts and complaints, negotiate variation orders, settle disputes to ensure effective negotiation and settlement of claims, and ensure all tasks have been completed as per plans and aligned with NWC policies and procedures.
• Ensure monitoring and investigate of claims and variations, adjustments, and modifications.
