FEMALE MUSIC TEACHERS

1. Bi-lingual teacher who can work with our EYFS to Year/5 students2. Year 5 students onward (also ideally bilingual)

Location: Jeddah, Saudi ArabiaStart Date: August 2023Contract period: 2 yearsCurriculum: National Curriculum of England and Wales (Cambridge Curriculum)School Type: 100% Arab (85% Saudi Nationals)

This is a bilingual school of separate boys and girls campuses, that combine an international curriculum with an ethos that strongly promotes the ideals and culture of the Middle East. All students speak English as a second language.

Qualifications: Bachelor Degree (preferable in music) plus Teaching Qualification in relevant teaching areaExperience: Minimum 2 years requiredOther Background: UK curriculum experience is highly preferable but other backgrounds and experiences can be considered on a case by case basisGender: Must be female due to movement across both boys and girls campuses

Responsible for teaching and learning of music across KS1 and KS, KS3Helping pupils grow in their enjoyment, appreciation, and performance of music through a variety of planned music experiences which include singing, moving to music, playing of instruments and listening.Providing support and advice to colleagues for cross curricula music: assisting the staff of the school in the improvement and appreciation of music instruction.Ensure that planning, preparation, recording, assessment and reporting meet the needs of the students and the requirements of the school.Offering instrumental sessions for extended music program.
