Fulltime, live-in junior housekeeping couple required to work as partof a large team on a private shooting estate near Hook inHampshire.
Thefamily are looking for a flexible and energetic couple to help withall housekeeping duties particularly. Partner to assist withhousekeeping and potentially serving at table or assisting withmaintenance, driving or gardening. Any extra skills offered wouldbe welcome!
Otherstaff employed including another Domestic couple, Gardening teamandGamekeepers.
Theshooting season runs from September to January which is the busiesttime of year so flexibility is a must during these months - workinglate nights or early mornings, with varied days off during the weekaround the shoots. You will also be required to work in the mainresidence to help look after the family with all housekeepingduties.
Mainduties will be hands on housekeeping, cleaning and laundry as wellas meeting and greeting guests, helping with luggage and servingmeals. No gardening required although maybe some light outdoormaintenance and tidying.
Dueto rural location one driver is essential.
Theday-to-day life for the principals is relatively informal, with 2children at boarding school in the UK but they will host guestsoften. The position may also include the opportunity to travel withthe family to various destinations around theworld.
Accommodationoffered is a one-bedroom terraced cottage, regret not suitable forpets or dependents. Working 5 days a week including weekends with 2days off to be taken during the week.
