Key responsibilities of the roleManagerial/AdministrationDeveloping policies and procedures for network management to effectively mitigate risks, fortify security measures, and guarantee the seamless operation of the network infrastructure.Technicaland architect network solutions to meet the organization's requirements.network hardware, software, and configurations according to the design specifications.and optimize network devices and protocols for optimal performance and security.and resolve network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruptions.regular maintenance tasks, including software updates, patches, and performance monitoring.and maintain security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols, to safeguard against cyber threats.for network capacity and scalability to accommodate future growth and demand.detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.with other IT professionals, including system administrator, and cybersecurity officer, to ensure seamless integration and operation of network services.updated on emerging technologies and best practices in network engineering to continually improve our network infrastructure.Quality & SafetySupport the development, maintenance and implementation of information systems and infrastructure disaster recovery plans.Adhere to the policy and procedures to ensure the protection of the facility's IT assets and the integrity, security and privacy of information entrusted to or maintained by the facility.EducationAssist in creating and updating a company-wide plan for business recovery to swiftly and efficiently restore IT services and infrastructure following a disaster.SkillsQualifications, Certifications and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.Certified Network Professional (CCNP)Wireless Network Professional (CWNP)Certified Professional - Network Virtualization (VCP-NV)Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700)Network+, CompTIA Security+, CISSPSolutions Architect Expert5 years of experience in network & voice administration and management, with a proven track record of successful network projects.Experience in the Healthcare industryKnowledge of local and international regulations and best practices relevant to network setup.Knowledge of network security threats and ability to implement preventative controls in-cluding firewalls, access controls, authentication systems, intrusion detection systems, VPNs, and cryptography.Proven experience with Voice over IP (VoIP) systems, including (but not limited to) Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX), and Voice.Knowledge of cloud security & network concepts, technologies, and best practices.Skills in the use of vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools with in-depth knowledge of network components such as bridges, routers, concentrators, cabling systems, and Ethernet in switched environments.Skill in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating security-related issues.Skill in configuring, deploying, and monitoring security infrastructure.Ability to develop and interpret standards, policies, and procedures and analyze systems and procedures, write and review standards and procedures, and handle multiple projects.English language proficiencyArabic language proficiency is desirable but not essential.
