An established FMCG company in the region with extensive growth plans is urgently looking to hire a
Regional Sales Manager .Your Role:
The ideal candidate should be a strong leader with a self-driven and passionate approach, capable of thriving and succeeding in a fast-paced environment. You'll be responsible for delivering the sales growth for the region across all channels of which traditional trade is a significant segment. The role involves developing and managing the strategy together with other stakeholders, expanding key accounts and modern trade business, and creating KPIs for the team to achieve the agreed sales targets, shelf off-take, and market share. You'll be involved in brand marketing activities from planning to execution and ensure brand presence in terms of availability and visibility with the merchandising team. Additionally, you must possess strong analytical skills to derive insights from data, handle pressure effectively, and manage new categories.Key Responsibilities:Deliver sales growth for the region across all channels, including traditional trade.Develop and manage sales strategies in collaboration with stakeholders.Expand key accounts, modern trade, and traditional trade business.Create and monitor KPIs to achieve sales targets, shelf off-take, and market share.Involve in planning and execution of brand marketing activities.Ensure brand presence in terms of availability and visibility with the merchandising team.Utilize analytical skills for data-driven insights and decision-making.Handle pressure and manage new product categories effectively.Participate in business transformation initiatives and directly impact business outcomes.Must-Have:Minimum of 12+ years of proven and successful sales experience in the FMCG industry with at least 3-5 years in managing/heading a sales region.Strong leadership and analytical skills.In-depth knowledge of Route to Market (RTM) strategies.Experience in sales forecasting, planning, performance management, training, and RTM.Demonstrated ability to handle pressure and manage new categories.Participation in business transformation initiatives with a direct impact on business.Experience with both modern trade and traditional trade.
