EssentialFunctions

• To plan,manage and control all aspects of finance within the plant and toprovide the Plant Manager and plant management team with relevantfinancial reports and analysis in order to properly manage andsteer the business.
• The job holder fullysupports the Plant Manager in his responsibility for theperformance of the division (maximizing profitability, return oncapital employed and net cash position).
• Thejob holder is responsible for all administrative, controlling andfinancial controls for the plant and respective, appropriatereporting to the Regional Headquarter (NAFTA) as well as the GlobalHeadquarters.

CONTROLLING:

• Preparation of periodical (monthly, quarterly, etc.)reporting (Month-end report, Performance Review, BusinessScorecards & Key Performance Indicators).
• Ensure Finance policies, instructions and guidelines areapplied consistently.
• Responsible for thesetup of proper internal control systems and procedures.
• Responsible for the budgeting and forecastingprocess.
• Liaison and Sparring-Partner for thePlant Manager on all financial obligations.
• Ensure plant management team is aware of financial andbusiness implications of their actions and decisions.
• Produce management information for operational andstrategic purposes.
• Working capitalmanagement
• Foreign exchangemanagement
• Miscellaneous variance analysis asper standard or upon ad-hoc request.
• Investment controlling (economic valuation, requestrelease & tracking)
• Supervise accruals& provisions.
• Inventory valuation& stocktaking
• Coordinate Yearly TaxReturn Submissions and R&D Tax Opportunities
• Human Resources Financetopics

ACCOUNTING:

• Ensure a fair and accurate reporting of all financialstatements in conformity with local GAAP as well as IFRS, and therelevant accounting policies, guidelines and directives.
• Monthly Reporting of financial statements in HFMSystem
• Supervise the accounting to ensurestatutory requirements (external audit, tax & legal) can beadheredto.

SELFBILLING:

• Continuous analysis of selling price & materialprice variances with respective customer reconciliation and followup of actions if required up to the moment of fullclearance.
• GRIR reconciliation on a monthlybasis.
• Monthly reconciliation of warranty andquality charges both at customer as well as at the supplierside.

MANAGEMENT(People):

• Managementof the Finance & Controlling Department according to thecompany's value principle, especially concerning performanceappraisal, training and development.
• Has theability to stop production upon notifying the supervisor and PlantManager for Safety Related matters requiring immediateattention.
• Support and/ or drive adherence,changes or improvements tied to improved overall plant Health andSafety.
• Take every precaution reasonable toprotect the Health and Safety of the workers
• Identified as Canada ComplianceOfficer.

GENERAL:

• Responsible for continuous improvement of accuracy andtimeliness of monthly and annual reporting.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager orDirector Finance NAFTA.
• EnvironmentalManagement
• WCM Duties as assigned.
• Ensuring compliance to and participate in IATF 16949 andCSR (Customer Specific Requirements) compliance & ISO 14001certification.
• Ensure computer/internet accessto Customer Specific Portals and department specific requiredApplications.
• Has the ability to stopproduction, upon notifying the Supervisor and Plant Manager forquality related nonconforming matters requiring immediaterepair.
• Supporting the launch of both ISO45001 and ISO 50001.
• Other duties asassigned.

RelatedExperience/SpecializedKnowledge:

• Profoundknowledge & understanding of local GAAP &IFRS.
• Know how on internal controlprocesses.
• IATF16949/CSR (Customer SpecificRequirements) ISO14001

Education:

• College or University degree inBusiness/Economics/Finance or equivalent education.
• Further professional training on finance/accountingsubjectspreferred.

ProfessionalTraining:

• 5+ yearsworking experience as an (Assistant-) Controller in amanufacturing/industrial environment.
• Previousexperience in an international context preferred.
• Previous experience in the automotive sector (JITManufacturing) is an addedadvantage.
