Job Description - Accountant

of reputable clients and partners in the EMEA region including large
organizations operating in telecom, technology, government, banking, insurance,
real estate development, retail, services, chemicals, e -commerce and
transportation sectors.


About the role: 
We
are looking for an Accountant to join our Finance team and play a key role in
supporting the accounting operations across different legal entities. This role
offers hands -on exposure to bookkeeping, invoicing, payments, monthly closings,
payroll, audits, and tax compliance (VAT, WHT, CIT, TP), ensuring accurate and
timely financial reporting in a dynamic, multi -entity environment.

Expectations from the role:

    The role supports accounting operations
across different legal entities within the group.
  • Prepare and issue sales invoices, credit
    notes, and debit notes. 

  • Record and process journal entries,
    ensuring accurate and up -to -date accounting records per entity.

  • Draft and record vendor bills in Odoo,
    calculate applicable WHT, and prepare payment run schedules.

  • Support tax filing preparation (VAT, WHT,
    CIT, TP) and ensure compliance with applicable tax and zakat regulations. 

  • Prepare required documentation, schedules,
    and reconciliations to support internal and external audits. 

  • Maintain proper filing systems and
    financial documentation segregated per entity.
  • Assist in intercompany reconciliations and
    ensure accurate recording of intercompany transactions.

  • Support payroll -related accounting entries
    and reconciliations.

  • Perform additional accounting duties as
    assigned by management.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1 – 4 years of accounting experience.
  • Experience working with multiple entities is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Odoo or similar ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Exposure to bookkeeping, audit, payroll review, and tax regulations.
  • Understanding of VAT, WHT, CIT, and basic transfer pricing concepts.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple sets of books simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Good English and Arabic proficiency (written and spoken).
