Analyst - Digital Forensic and Incident Management

Qiddiya Investment Company is looking for a meticulous and analytical Analyst - Digital Forensic and Incident Management to join our cybersecurity team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for investigating cybersecurity incidents, conducting digital forensic analyses, and supporting incident management processes to ensure the integrity and security of our digital environment.

Your expertise in digital forensics will play a vital role in identifying and mitigating threats, as well as providing insights that inform our security strategies and incident response protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough digital forensic investigations for security incidents, collecting and analyzing evidence in accordance with established protocols.
• Assist in the development and implementation of incident response plans, ensuring swift and efficient handling of incidents.
• Support the creation of detailed incident reports and documentation, outlining findings and recommendations for improvement.
• Work collaboratively with IT and security teams to develop strategies for preventing future incidents and enhancing security posture.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in digital forensics and incident management practices.
• Participate in training and awareness sessions related to incident response protocols and forensic techniques.

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in digital forensics, incident management, or a related area.
• Familiarity with forensic tools and software as well as methodologies for incident investigation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication abilities, capable of conveying complex information to diverse audiences.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)) are advantageous.
