Summary
We are seeking a High Frequency Application Engineer for our
Riyadh/Dammam, KSA office. In this role, by using Ansys High Frequency
products, you will:
• Function as a
specialist in the use and application of Ansys High Frequency simulation tools
(Ansys HFSS/SIwave)
• Support the
sales team in the engagement with the Customers from technical point of view,
participating in meetings, performing live presentations as well as demo cases,
and developing case studies to show the Customers how the Ansys solutions can
help them to improve their productivity and revenue
• Provide
technical support and training for Customers in middle east region by
responding to Customer inquiries, guiding them through challenging industrial
applications and recommending the most appropriate simulation usage
• Carryout
Consulting Projects for customers in the middle east area

Key
Duties and Responsibilities
â Responsible
for providing best in class solutions involving communication with RF and
Phased Array systems and collaborating with the cross regional and cross
functional teams for developing suitable solutions.
â Work in
Advanced technology areas such as 5G, Millimeter wave, communications and Radar
Systems and collaborate with customers to have a footprint of Ansys in customer
design process.
â Understand
customer needs in Chip, Package and PCB designs involving Signal Integrity and
Power Integrity and provide right methodologies with Ansys solutions to ensure
customer success.
â Provide
high -quality, efficient post -sales and technical support through email and
telephone
â Develop
technical support repositories that help Ansys customers to be more productive
and efficient
â Create
elegant and useful solutions to solve complex problems by working across
various teams and understanding the needs of our customers
â Lead/Assist
in coordinating and executing all technical activities throughout the sales
opportunity such as customer meetings and product presentations, demonstrations
and evaluations
â Create and
demonstrate simulation solutions to streamline Customer workflows, in support
of the software sales process
â Develop,
organize, and deliver introductory technical training courses on the use of
ANSYS electromagnetic simulation products
â Participate
in external and internal events to further enhance Ansys solution related to RF
systems
â Sustain
technical proficiency through ANSYS certifications and continual pursuit of
personal, technical, and professional growth
â Participate
in and support internal marketing initiatives that drive customer engagement,
education, and grow technical capacity
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and
Experience
• Hold a
B.Sc/Msc. (Eng) in Electrical Engineering /Electronics & Communication engineering
• Have a strong
background in electromagnetic simulation domain
• Demonstrated
use of relevant Ansys software such as HFSS, SBR+, SIwave, Q3D Extractor and
EMIT or knowledge of other commercial like ADS, SystemVue, Simulink, AWR, CST,
FEKO software packages
• Experience in
working with RF Link Budget Analysis and related Systems
• Knowledge of
5G system, Phased Array, Digital Beamforming, Microwave components,
Communication and Radar system
• A thorough
understanding of electronics devices and/or electrical system design and
simulation, preferably with industry knowledge in one or more of the following
applications:
o PCB
o SI/PI
applications
o RF
applications
o Antennas
o EMC/EMI
o Automotive
electrical systems
• Have
demonstrated skills in writing and presenting in fluent English
• Have strong
interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate and
conduct webinars and presentations to Customers
• Have a
logical problem -solving approach and the ability to communicate the situation
and proposed solution to the Customer in a clear manner
• Possess a
sense of urgency, dedication, and strong organizational and follow -up skills
• Have an
engaging personality, engineering curiosity and willingness for continuous
learning
• Project a
professional image and strong business acumen during customer interactions
• Have the
ability to travel up to 20%.
