Application Support Resident Engineer

We're seeking an Application Support professional with 5+ years of experience troubleshooting business-critical applications. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, can diagnose issues through log analysis, and stays calm under pressure while communicating clearly with stakeholders.

Technically, this role requires hands-on experience with Windows Server administration, IIS configuration, RDBMS (MS SQL/Oracle, PostgreSQL preferred), API troubleshooting (Postman or similar), and basic PowerShell scripting.

Required Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline is preferred

• 5+ years of experience in application support

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

• Ability to analyze logs and identify root causes

• Ability to handle critical issues under pressure

• Excellent communication and customer-handling skills

• Ability to work independently

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Windows Server administration

• IIS configuration and troubleshooting

• Experience analyzing IIS and application logs

• RDBMS knowledge (MS SQL / Oracle; PostgreSQL preferred)

• API troubleshooting and testing

• Experience with Postman or similar tools

• Basic PowerShell scripting
