Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a highly experienced Architectural Manager to join our Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team for a landmark metro program in KSA. You will provide architectural leadership, technical oversight, and design assurance across metro stations, transit facilities, and associated infrastructure. You will act on behalf of the Client to review, monitor, and guide the contractor’s architectural design development, ensuring compliance with project requirements, regulatory standards, sustainability targets, and international best practices.

This role requires extensive experience in rail and metro station architecture, with strong understanding of design governance within a PMC environment, preferably in KSA or GCC region.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Provide architectural oversight of contractor-led designs for metro stations, interchanges, depots, and associated facilities.

•  Review and comment on design submissions at concept, preliminary, detailed, and IFC stages to ensure compliance with Employer’s Requirements.

• Ensure alignment with local regulations, urban planning requirements, fire/life safety standards, and international rail design standards.

• Provide technical input on station planning, passenger flow, wayfinding, accessibility, and multi-modal integration.

• Coordinate architectural interfaces with civil, structural, MEP, and rail systems disciplines.

• Monitor implementation of sustainability requirements and green building targets.

• Participate in value engineering reviews and design optimization discussions.

• Support construction phase reviews to ensure architectural works comply with approved designs and specifications.

• Attend design coordination meetings, progress meetings, and stakeholder workshops.

• Provide technical guidance to junior architects within the PMC team.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution (Master’s preferred).

• Minimum 15 years of experience in architectural design and delivery of rail, metro, or large-scale infrastructure projects.

• Extensive experience in metro or railway station architecture from concept through construction.

• Prior experience in a PMC or client-side advisory role is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of KSA/GCC building codes and regulatory processes.

• Proficiency in BIM (Revit), design review tools, and architectural modelling platforms.

• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
