Description:

Functions as an Electrical/Avionics/Armament/Fire Control/Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) Technician on the AH64E and AH-6i helicopters. Responsible for the maintenance being performed on the armament/fire control/weapons systems and electrical/avionics components using Operators Manual, Maintenance Manuals, and other customer directives. Diagnoses and repairs aircraft systems and components malfunctions, including solid state and transistorized devices, according to the appropriate technical manuals, directives and safety procedures. Performs aircraft maintenance actions, authorized modifications and alignment of AH-64E, AH-6i weapons components, fire control, electronic and mechanical devices, and instruments. Uses common measuring tools necessary for performing the tasks described herein, precision measuring tools, and alignment fixtures. Handles AH-64E, AH-6i aircraft ammunitions, performs weapon system loading/unloading, arming and de-arming, and weapon subsystem configuration changes for all AH-64E, AH-6i weapons and fire control systems. Performs aircraft systems operational checks. Test, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft systems test sets and diagnostic equipment. Assist customers in the requisition and maintenance of Shop and Bench stock items required to support the maintenance effort of this section. Uses and performs operator maintenance on common and special tools, AGSE and PGSE. Additionally, Prepare aircraft maintenance forms and records (automated). Conducts MNG OJT as required. Ensure all related operations are conducted in a safe manner.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Five (5) years' experience as an aircraft Electrical/Avionics/Armament/Fire Control/Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) Technician.
  • Three (3) years' experience an AH-64 series aircraft Electrical/Avionics/Armament/Fire Control/Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) Technician
  • Graduate of a US Military Aircraft Electrical/Avionics/Armament/Fire Control/Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) technician course or civilian equivalent training and experience.
  • Demonstrated past performance and experience in maintenance on AH64 series aircraft.
  • Proficient in the use of computer-hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft maintenance forms, and other aircraft related documentation.
  • Proficient in MS Office software.
  • Professional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with the customer in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Possess a valid US issued driver's license and passport.
  • Successfully pass an overseas deployment physical upon hire

Medical Examination: Candidates must successfully complete all mandatory medical examinations required to obtain employment.

Criminal Record: To qualify for a Saudi Work Visa, candidates must have a clean criminal record with no prior convictions, as specified by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Drug and Alcohol Testing: Candidates must pass a drug test to be considered for employment. Additionally, our ATSS program enforces a random drug and alcohol testing policy. Employees will be subject to periodic testing to maintain adherence to our workplace standards and safety regulations.
