Assistant Manager - Data Centers and Passive

Qiddiya Investment Company is looking for a proactive and strategic Assistant Manager - Data Centers and Passive to join our rapidly expanding team. In this role, you will play a vital part in overseeing the design, implementation, and management of data center facilities, ensuring that they meet the organization's evolving technological needs.

Your responsibilities will include managing the infrastructure of data centers, addressing passive infrastructure requirements, and ensuring efficient capacity planning and resource utilization.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the design and construction phases of data centers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Manage day-to-day operations and maintenance of data center facilities, focusing on efficiency, uptime, and capacity management.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of IT infrastructure in data center environments.
• Implement energy-efficient solutions and sustainable practices in data center operations.
• Establish regular maintenance schedules and protocols to ensure optimal performance of data center equipment and infrastructure.
• Evaluate and recommend upgrades, expansions, or modifications required to meet changing technological requirements.
• Develop and track performance metrics to assess data center operations and implement improvements as necessary.
• Research and stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in data center design and management.
• Provide support in incident management and disaster recovery planning related to data center operations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data center management, operations, or infrastructure design.
• Strong understanding of data center technologies, including power distribution, cooling systems, and network infrastructures.
• Experience with capacity planning, performance monitoring, and resource allocation in data center environments.
• Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, PMP, LEED) are a plus.
