Job Description - Assistant Manager - Document Control - QPAC SPA 329

Qiddiya Investment Company is on a mission to become a pioneer in the development of entertainment and cultural experiences in Saudi Arabia. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team as the Assistant Manager in Document Control (DC). In this critical role, you will oversee and enhance the document control processes that support our various projects and initiatives.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all project documentation is managed efficiently and securely, while also promoting best practices within the organization that align with legal, regulatory, and industry standards.

This position offers a unique chance to contribute to the organization’s success while fostering a culture of efficiency and excellence in document management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement document control procedures and workflows to ensure the effective organization, storage, and retrieval of project documents.
  • Monitor the lifecycle of project documents, ensuring timely processing and distribution of materials to relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on document control practices and tools.
  • Manage the archival and destruction of documents in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with project teams to maintain accurate records of documentation status and changes.
  • Conduct regular audits of document control processes and systems to enhance reliability and performance.
  • Prepare reports on document control activities, including compliance audits and tracking metrics.
  • Act as a point of contact for document control queries and provide solutions to challenges that arise.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a relevant field.
  • 4-5 years relevant experience in document control, administration, or similar positions, preferably in a project-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of document management systems and tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and document management software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
