Assistant manager - OT Security

Qiddiya Investment Company is looking for a knowledgeable and proactive Assistant Manager - OT Security to strengthen our security initiatives in operational technology environments. As part of our dedicated cybersecurity team, you will play a pivotal role in protecting our operational systems from cyber threats and ensuring the integrity and availability of critical processes.

Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing security measures tailored specifically for operational technology, conducting risk assessments, and collaborating with various teams to enhance our security posture in line with industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain operational technology (OT) security policies, procedures, and frameworks to mitigate risks.
• Conduct regular assessments and audits of OT systems to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.
• Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to ensure that security controls are integrated into OT processes and systems.
• Monitor OT environments for security incidents, analyzing alerts and responding to threats efficiently.
• Conduct training programs to raise security awareness among staff working in OT environments.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging threats to OT systems and industry developments to inform security strategies.
• Support incident response efforts related to OT security breaches, ensuring lessons learned are documented and improvements are made.

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on operational technology security.
• Understanding of OT systems and protocols, including SCADA, PLC, and DCS.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards relevant to OT, such as ISA/IEC 62443.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address security challenges effectively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP)) are advantageous.
