Our client is leading hospitality and service provider in KSA, and currently seeking for a Assistant Manager - Supplier Relationship (Procurement Professional). Job Purpose: The Supplier Relationship Assistant Manager(KSA National) supports the Supplier Relationship Manager in developing and implementing the supplier relationship strategy, managing supplier performance, and ensuring effective supplier onboarding and pre-qualification processes. They work closely with key stakeholders to align department strategies, monitor supplier performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The Assistant Manager plays a vital role in maintaining strong supplier relationships, mitigating risks, and optimizing value from supplier partnerships.

Requirements

Roles & Responsibilities: • Assist in developing and implementing the supplier relationship strategy, including segmenting suppliers, defining expectations, and conducting regular performance review meetings. • Collaborate with end-users and category managers to evaluate supplier performance and provide feedback to suppliers based on their performance evaluation. • Contribute to the development of the department strategy, aligning it with key stakeholders, and implementing control and reporting tools to ensure its successful execution. • Prepare regular reports on supplier performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs), risk management plans, and improvement initiatives. • Prepare monthly reports on the department's performance and initiatives, highlighting supplier performance metrics and improvement initiatives. • Manage and approve supplier registration and pre-qualification processes, ensuring compliance with quality, compliance, and delivery requirements. • Validate and inspect supplier documents, such as CR, VAT registration, and compliance-related documents, to ensure their validity, correctness, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. • Conduct regular supplier risk assessments to minimize and mitigate potential risks. • Develop and maintain supplier risk management plans, identifying and mitigating potential risks in the supply chain. • Monitor supplier performance using data analytics, identify areas for improvement, and develop improvement plans. • Establish service level agreements with finance, procurement, logistics, and suppliers, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities and effective collaboration. • Collaborate with other departments to integrate and align supplier management processes with overall business strategy. • Control, audit, and support logistics in managing international orders, ensuring shipment compliance with applicable laws and regulations. • Monitor, improve, control, and report supplier performance using scorecards and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement • Act as the primary point of contact for supplier onboarding and client service, ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding process. • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to supplier management, including anti-corruption laws, labor laws, and environmental regulations. • Evaluate supplier blacklisting requests, assessing their merit before seeking approval for blacklisting. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, regularly communicating and addressing any issues or concerns that may arise. • Review and reconcile supplier statements of accounts, ensuring accurate recording of payments and credits and maintaining up-to-date supplier records. • Foster closer, more collaborative relationships with key suppliers to uncover new value and reduce risk. • Oversee the payment process, ensuring timely submission of invoices through the supplier portal and on-time payment by the finance team. Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree - must be a KSA National - at least 4 years' experience in Supplier Relationship Management, Procurement/Supply Chain
