Assistant Professor of Pediatric Nursing

The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in pediatric nursing, conduct research, and provide academic and professional guidance to students. We seek an individual with a strong background in pediatric nursing, a passion for teaching and mentoring, and a commitment to promoting the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical sessions in pediatric nursing for undergraduate and graduate students.
• Design and implement innovative teaching methods and materials that promote active learning and critical thinking.
• Conduct research in pediatric nursing and publish findings in reputable journals and conferences.
• Mentor and advise students on academic and professional matters, including research projects and career development.
• Participate in curriculum development, program evaluation, and accreditation processes.
• Collaborate with colleagues and healthcare professionals to enhance the quality of education and research in pediatric nursing.
• Engage in professional development activities to stay current with advancements in pediatric nursing.

Qualifications:

• PhD in Nursing with a specialization in pediatric nursing or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level.
• Active research agenda with a record of publications in reputable journals.
• Experience in curriculum development, program evaluation, and accreditation processes.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
