Assistant Purchasing Officer x1 - (Global Italian Restaurant Group)

Join a Global Italian Restaurant Group supporting the opening and ongoing operations of a premium all-day dining concept in Riyadh. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth purchasing operations across food, beverage, and non-food supplies, with a strong focus on accuracy, supplier coordination, and cost control in a quality-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day purchasing activities across food, beverage, and operating supplies in line with approved suppliers and specifications.
• Raise and process purchase orders, follow up on deliveries, and match invoices against goods received notes.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, price lists, and supplier documentation.
• Monitor stock levels in coordination with kitchen, service, and finance teams to prevent shortages or over-ordering.
• Liaise with suppliers regarding availability, lead times, substitutions, and quality issues.
• Assist with supplier comparisons, cost tracking, and basic procurement reporting.
• Ensure purchasing processes comply with internal controls, hygiene standards, and local regulations.

• 2–4 years’ experience in a purchasing or procurement role within hospitality, food service, or FMCG.
• Practical understanding of food and beverage purchasing in a restaurant environment.
• Strong attention to detail with solid Excel skills; experience with purchasing or inventory systems preferred.
• Fluent English; Arabic an advantage.
• Well organised, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced pre-opening and operational setting.
• Short notice period (1 month or less).

• SAR 9,000 per month.
