Associate Director - Design

Qiddiya Investment Company is at the forefront of redefining entertainment and leisure in Saudi Arabia. We are currently seeking an experienced Associate Director - Design to join our visionary team. This role is essential in driving the conceptual and detailed design processes for a diverse range of projects, ensuring that our developments are not only innovative but also align with our overarching vision.

Your expertise will play a crucial role in creating captivating environments that enhance visitor experiences across our entertainment and leisure offerings. You will lead interdisciplinary design teams and collaborate closely with various stakeholders to bring imaginative concepts to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the design process, from conceptualization through to detailed design execution, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Lead and mentor a team of designers and architects, fostering creativity and collaboration within the team.
• Ensure that all designs adhere to quality standards, safety regulations, and sustainability practices.
• Engage with clients, government entities, and stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback throughout the design process.
• Conduct design reviews and provide insights to enhance project outcomes and visitor experiences.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging design practices to continuously innovate within projects.
• Develop and maintain design guidelines and documentation for future reference and consistency across the projects.
• Coordinate with project managers and construction teams to ensure successful implementation of design elements during project execution.

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Design, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• A minimum of 10-12 years of experience in design, with a focus on large-scale projects in the entertainment or leisure sectors.
• Strong portfolio showcasing innovative design concepts and completed projects.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient in design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and sustainability practices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
