We are seeking a talented and experienced Banquet Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our culinary team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our banquet operations, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation for large-scale events and gatherings.

• Manage a designated section of the banquet kitchen, overseeing food preparation, cooking, and plating
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to develop and execute innovative menu items for banquets and special events
• Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards in your assigned station
• Train and supervise junior kitchen staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork
• Assist in inventory management and cost control within your section
• Participate in menu planning and recipe development for banquet offerings
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Adapt to changing priorities and handle high-pressure situations during peak banquet times
• Contribute to the overall success of the culinary team by supporting other sections as needed

• Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role, preferably in high-volume banquet operations
• Strong culinary skills with expertise in various cuisines, particularly Middle Eastern and international
• In-depth knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, with current food safety certification
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items when necessary
• Creativity and passion for culinary arts, with a keen eye for detail and presentation
• Ability to work in Saudi Arabia (valid work visa or local residency)
