JOB TITLE: Banquet Supervisor
REPORTING TO: Banquet Manager
THE POSITION
The Banquet Supervisor is responsible for overseeing banquet operations, ensuring seamless execution of events, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role supervises banquet staff, coordinates with other departments, and ensures adherence to operational standards, while promoting the Company’s legacy competencies and values.
Team Supervision & Leadership:
- Supervise banquet staff during setup, service, and breakdown of events.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and on-the-job training to team members.
- Ensure staff adhere to service standards, operational procedures, and company policies.
Event Operations & Coordination:
- Assist in planning and executing banquets, conferences, weddings, and other events.
- Coordinate with the Banquet Manager, kitchen, F&B, and other hotel departments to ensure smooth event operations.
- Monitor event timelines, service flow, and guest satisfaction.
Guest Service:
- Ensure all guests receive prompt, courteous, and professional service.
- Handle guest requests, concerns, or complaints efficiently and professionally.
- Maintain a high standard of presentation and service throughout the event.
Operational Duties:
- Oversee setup and breakdown of banquet rooms, ensuring all equipment and décor are in place.
- Monitor inventory of banquet supplies, linens, and equipment, report shortages to management.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and operational standards.
Support to Management:
- Assist the Banquet Manager in scheduling, reporting, and operational planning.
- Provide feedback and recommendations for improving service quality and efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2–4 years’ experience in banquet or events operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of banquet and event service standards, operational procedures, and guest relations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and team leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and maintain composure during high-demand events.
