Business Analyst - Retail Banking (Mid-Level)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Mid-Level Business Analyst – Retail Banking to support business transformation initiatives by gathering and analyzing business requirements, documenting functional specifications, and collaborating with business and technology teams to deliver innovative retail banking solutions.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Retail Banking products, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions while supporting system implementations and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Analysis

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from Retail Banking stakeholders.
• Conduct interviews and workshops with business users to understand business needs.
• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), User Stories, and Process Flows.
• Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements.
• Perform Gap Analysis between business requirements and existing systems.
• Maintain requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.

Solution Delivery

• Work closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Developers, QA teams, and Project Managers.
• Support solution design discussions.
• Participate in Functional Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Assist during production deployment and post-go-live support.
• Validate delivered solutions against business requirements.

Support business initiatives related to Retail Banking products such as:

• Current & Savings Accounts
• Customer Onboarding
• Digital Banking
• Mobile Banking
• Internet Banking
• Debit & Credit Cards
• Personal Loans
• Consumer Finance
• Payments & Transfers
• Customer Information Management (CIF)

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with business users and technical teams.
• Clarify functional requirements for development teams.
• Support project meetings and requirement review sessions.
• Ensure business expectations are reflected in delivered solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of Business Analysis experience.
• Experience in Retail Banking projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
