Business Architect

The Role

Capco is seeking an experienced Business Architect to support strategic transformation initiatives across capital markets, wealth management, and digital financial services. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, operating model design, and enterprise transformation, helping clients build scalable, future-ready organizations.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders to establish enterprise-wide visibility of business capabilities, value streams, operating models, and organizational dependencies. By translating strategic objectives into practical business architecture frameworks, you will enable informed decision-making and drive sustainable business change.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain Business Capability Maps, Target Operating Models, value streams, and enterprise business architecture artefacts across investment and wealth management functions.


• Translate business strategy into structured business architecture services, governance frameworks, and transformation roadmaps.


• Lead cross-functional transformation initiatives, aligning business, operations, product, and technology teams around common objectives.


• Identify capability gaps, operational dependencies, and opportunities for business innovation, scalability, and efficiency improvements.


• Establish and govern business architecture standards, methodologies, and practices to support enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Business Architect, Enterprise Architect, or similar strategic transformation role within financial services.


• Strong understanding of brokerage, wealth management, capital markets, and digital financial services operating models.


• Experience designing enterprise business architecture artefacts, including capability maps, target operating models, governance frameworks, and value streams.


• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and executive presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership.


• Demonstrated ability to drive business transformation initiatives and institutionalize knowledge into scalable frameworks and operating practices.

Bonus Points For

• Experience supporting large-scale transformation programmes within investment banking, capital markets, or wealth management organizations.


• Knowledge of industry-standard business architecture frameworks and capability modelling methodologies.


• Experience working within complex, multi-entity or regional financial services organizations.


• Exposure to digital transformation, platform modernization, or operating model redesign initiatives.


• Professional certifications in Business Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Change Management, or related disciplines.
