Job Description - Business Continuity Manager- KSA
Description
Manage and oversee the Business Continuity Management (BCM) program across Bank of Jordan – Saudi Arabia Branches.
Develop and maintain the Business Continuity and Operational Resilience frameworks, policies, and procedures in line with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Lead Business Impact Analysis (BIA), risk assessments, and the development of Business Continuity, Crisis Management, and Disaster Recovery (DR) plans.
Ensure the readiness and effectiveness of business continuity and disaster recovery capabilities through regular testing, crisis simulations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with SAMA requirements, ISO 22301, and other applicable standards.
Monitor emerging regulations, industry trends, and best practices, recommending enhancements to strengthen operational resilience.
Support incident and crisis management activities to ensure uninterrupted delivery of critical business services.
Prepare management reports, KPIs, and KRIs related to business continuity and operational resilience.
Promote a culture of business continuity through training, awareness programs, and advisory support across the organization.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or any related field.
Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Business Continuity Management (BCM) or Risk Management, including at least 3 years in a managerial position.
Professional certifications such as CBCI, MBCI, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer/Auditor, CBCP, or other relevant certifications are preferred.
Strong ability to conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA).
Comprehensive knowledge of Business Continuity Management (BCM), Disaster Recovery (DR), and the requirements of ISO 22301.
Knowledge of Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) regulations and requirements.
Strong planning and organizational skills.
Strong decision-making skills.
Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
Proficient in computer applications and the systems used within the organization.
Thorough understanding of the internal and external policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements governing the business, including their updates.
