Business Development Director

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

• Your Expertise: Over 12 years of business development experience at a senior level in Third Party Logistics (3PL) including business services in the areas of supply chain, warehousing, distribution, transportation, food/consumer package goods, etc.
• In-Depth Industry Knowledge: specific knowledge of processors, wholesalers, brokers, retailers, etc. Ideally candidate has specific 3PL experience with food manufactures, food retailers, food importers and exporters.
• Europe: experience in leading teams, engaging in and nuances of countries across Europe
• Sales and account management process: worked with and ideally led using salesforce.com or other tools to support region, team and individual performance in new business targets, renewals and customer service measurement.
• Leadership Acumen: Demonstrate inspiring leadership in dynamic, competitive landscapes.
• Financial Acumen: Interpret financial performance and develop and implement plans to improve underperforming facilities.

• Educational Foundation:  Possess a Bachelor’s or Master degree in business, sales, marketing, or equivalent.
• Networking : Demonstrate a capability for establishing and fostering strong business connections.
• Team Empowerment:  Proven ability to elevate team performance and productivity.
• Visionary Mindset:  Comprehend long-range visions while meeting short-term objectives.
• Experience in the cold chain sector of Logistics

The expected salary for this position is between £100,000-£120,000 per annum.
