We are seeking a Director of Business Development, who will play a pivotal role in driving our client’s growth and expansion within the Oil & Gas industry.
This role involves strategically building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline, developing market strategies, and cultivating strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of both upstream services and downstream products and will be adept at identifying market trends and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategically build and maintain a strong sales pipeline focusing on upstream services and downstream products.
- Target potential clients requiring comprehensive Oil & Gas solutions including geoscience data, geo-services, drilling services, and downstream equipment.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the target service areas and product sectors.
- Lead negotiations and close deals aligning with our client’s business goals and client needs.
- Effectively communicate value propositions and tailor solutions based on this comprehensive knowledge.
- Provide regular reports on pipeline status, market insights, and strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related major.
- Proven experience in business development focusing on both upstream services and downstream products.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Certification by PMP, CPSM, PMI, or similar is desirable.
- Arabic & English speaking - Essential
