Job Description - Business Development Lead

The Business Development Lead at plays a critical hybrid role combining strategic business development, market intelligence, and proposal management. This mid-senior position is central to identifying growth opportunities, building competitive insights, managing client pipelines, and supporting proposal development efforts. The Lead works closely with consulting teams and executive leadership to translate insights into action, helping the firm achieve sustainable growth across key markets.

• Opportunity Identification: Analyze market opportunities, qualify potential leads, and manage the opportunity pipeline to support firm-wide growth targets. • Proposal Management: Coordinate the development of tailored technical and financial proposals, ensuring alignment with client requirements and IMPETUS value propositions.

• Market Intelligence Development: Lead the creation and maintenance of a comprehensive competitor and client intelligence database, including pricing trends, service offerings, and positioning strategies.

• Strategic Support: Collaborate with the Director to refine go-to-market strategies, sector prioritization, and strategic partnership development.

• Client Engagement: Assist in initiating and managing early-stage conversations with prospective clients and partners.

• Reporting & Analysis: Track performance metrics (e.g., win rates, pipeline velocity) and prepare regular updates for senior leadership.

Candidate must hold Saudi nationality

Educational

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Experience

At least 7 years of experience in business development, consulting, or market strategy, with strong exposure to proposal development and client engagement.

Training Certification

Certifications in business development, proposal writing, or CRM platforms are preferred.

Other

Strong research, writing, and interpersonal skills; results-driven mindset.
