This role is with one of the world's largest manufacturer of power tools, accessories, hardware and home improvement products. KEY RESULT AREAS
- To create a demand for professional hand tools and storage by providing effective application solutions to end-users in specific verticals.
- To manage key accounts and ensure enquiries generated are converted into orders by working with sales teams and distribution.
- To build a strategy to cover, penetrate, acquire and protect the business for IAR in the target market.
- To conduct market research on new products and communicate ‘voice of the customer’ back to marketing/ product management teams.
- To share the wider SBD portfolio with customers and share leads with relevant teams. CRITICAL INCIDENTS
• Key account management – regular visits, build relationship and trust with the end-user.
• Identify needs of the end-user, propose effective solutions, highlighting features/benefits and through product demonstrations.
• Continuously update product knowledge and build competence in assigned verticals.
• Ensure marketing objectives are met by focusing on categories that increase brand share.
• Product and safety training to end-user to support customers in driving higher productivity by correct usage of tools.
• New product launches to the end-user.
• Liaise with sales teams and dealers to ensure quotations and orders are serviced efficiently. DUTIES:
• Achieve annual sell-out targets based on focus categories for the target market.
• Achieve new product sell-out targets.
• Achieve new customer acquisition targets.
• Communicate and implement marketing campaigns and promotions to the end-user.
• Key account reports in the prescribed formats for review with managers.
• Support marketing events such as end-user meets and trade shows.
Major requirements: - 5 + years experience in Sales / Business Development within industrial tools
- Operating in Oil & Gas industry, Automotive, Defense, Aviation industry
- Exposure to Middle East market
- Current or previous Saudi Arabia work experience is preferred
