About the Family & Social Services Administration (FSSA):
The Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services manages the delivery of services to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and has two overarching responsibilities: to facilitate partnerships that enhance the quality of life for children and adults with physical and cognitive disabilities; and to provide them with continuous, life-long support.
Role Overview:
This role provides paraprofessional, technical and fiscal support for Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) Counselors and other professional VR staff by completing case management/coordination tasks to ensure timely processing of VR cases and quality of service delivery. You will support the VR eligibility determination process through acquisition of consumer records from medical facilities, psychologists, schools, employers, other state agencies, etc. Additionally, you will provide the VR Orientation for program applicants in a group setting or one-on-one. This role requires some travel.
The ideal candidate will have two years of college coursework plus one year of experience providing direct client services in a social services setting. Additional experience or education may substitute for the desired education and experience. This role is located at the Clarksville Vocational Rehabilitation office.
Salary:
The salary for this position traditionally starts at $42,900.00 but may be commensurate with education and work experience. Use our Compensation Calculator to view the total compensation package.
