Job Summary:
Responsible for performing duties as an Instructor Pilot in the CH47 aircraft and supporting simulation devices. Conducts initial ATP integration, continuation training, and evaluation of employee and customer crewmembers in accordance with RSLFAC Aircrew Training Manual (ATM) requirements.
Conducts academic and hands-on performance training and administers evaluations to ensure aircrew proficiency and standardization of training. Responsible for maintaining Individual Aircrew Training Folder, (IATF) and completing required training, currency, and readiness entries.
Conducts CH47 instruction in a classroom environment; provides flight instruction in the aircraft and flight training devices; providing contact, basic instrument, and basic combat skills training to ATM standards IAW government approved ATM. Instruction may include any combination of Individual or Group instruction in an academic classroom environment and or aircraft or simulator. Additionally, applicant must have Attack helicopter experience in mission operations and must have completed a course of instruction for IPs at an authorized Aviation Proponent School
Key Responsibilities:
Minimum Requirements:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Must have been qualified as a Pilot in Command. Must have 1000 hours of PC time with 300 hours in type aircraft.
3. Graduate of CH47 Instructor Pilot Course (IPC)/Methods of Instruction (MOI) course at an authorized Aviation Proponent School or an IP equivalency evaluation administered by a standardization instructor pilot (SP) selected by the Directorate of Evaluations and Standardization (DES) required.
4. Qualified on the CH-47F Series Aircraft required.
5. Minimum of 1500 total flight hours (total time). Minimum of 300 flight hours Instructor Pilot time. Minimum of 250 flight hours NVS/NVG.
6. FAA Commercial Pilot certificate or host nation GACA Pilot certificate required.
B. Experience:
1. Combat experience preferred. Instructor Pilot experience at Fort Rucker preferred.
C. Specific knowledge, skills, ability:
1. Successfully pass the Army, FAA Class II Flight Physical or GACA Flight Physical upon hire, and annually thereafter required.
2. Knowledge of Army Aviation training concepts, administration, and logistics.
3. Ability to communicate both orally and written.
4. Ability to effectively deal with people in the coordination of staff and team members.
5. Ability to effectively communicate with the customer in a professional and courteous manner.
6. Possesses a valid driver's license
Medical Examination: Candidates must successfully complete all mandatory medical examinations required to obtain employment.
Criminal Record: To qualify for a Saudi Work Visa, candidates must have a clean criminal record with no prior convictions, as specified by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Drug and Alcohol Testing: Candidates must pass a drug test to be considered for employment. Additionally, our program enforces a random drug and alcohol testing policy. Employees will be subject to periodic testing to maintain adherence to our workplace standards and safety regulations.
