Chemical Engineer- Water Utilities/Industrial Sector

Job Summary

We are seeking a Chemical Engineer to support water-quality monitoring, treatment processes, online analysers, and compliance with health and environmental standards. The role will assist in maintaining safe and consistent water quality across operational facilities and networks.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Review water-quality data, laboratory results, and treatment performance reports.

• Support operation and monitoring of chlorine, turbidity, and other water-quality analysers.

• Coordinate with contractors and technical teams on treatment improvement initiatives.

• Assist with environmental reviews, disinfection practices, and compliance documentation. • Prepare technical reports and recommendations related to water quality and treatment performance.



Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in water treatment, laboratories, utilities, process industries, or industrial operations.

• Knowledge of water-quality standards, chemical treatment processes, and online monitoring equipment.

• Relevant certification or recognised training in water treatment, laboratory quality, environmental management, or health and safety is required or strongly preferred.

• Good English communication and technical-reporting skills.
